Reply to reviews from the inbox.

The one-star review gets a reply before anyone else reads it.

Review management is reading and answering the public ratings customers leave about a business. For a local business, reviews are often the first thing a buyer reads, and an unanswered negative review is more visible than a dozen good ones. Bringing them into the same queue as messages means they get answered on the same shift.

  • Google Business Profile reviews pulled in on a schedule
  • Reply from the inbox and publish back to Google
  • Every reply attributed to the member who wrote it
  • Reviews sit beside messages and comments in one queue

How it works.

  1. 01

    Connect the profile

Connect the Google Business Profile that owns the location. The connection is stored against your workspace with its own health state.

  2. 02

    Reviews sync in

A scheduled sync pulls reviews and stores them against the location, so the queue is current without anyone checking the Google interface.

  3. 03

    Write the reply

Answer from the reviews tab in the inbox. Publishing is limited to owners and administrators, so a public response is a deliberate act.

  4. 04

    It publishes back

The reply is posted to Google and recorded in the audit record with the person who sent it.

Reviews in the working queue

Reviews are a tab in the same inbox as messages and comments, which means they are handled during normal work.

  • A scheduled sync, with no manual refresh
  • Stored per location for businesses with more than one
  • Sits beside private messages and public comments

Publishing is a deliberate act

A review reply is public and permanent in a way a chat message is not, so it is gated to owners and administrators and written to the audit record.

  • Reply permission limited to owners and administrators
  • Operators can read reviews without publishing
  • Every published reply recorded with its author

Part of the same customer picture

Reviews arrive against the location and workspace that owns them, so the same team that answers messages sees what is being said in public.

  • Location aware for multi-site businesses
  • Connection health visible with your other channels
  • Audit trail shared with the rest of the workspace

Drafted replies for reviews

Suggested review responses written from your knowledge base and the review text, for a person to edit before publishing.

  • Draft generated from the review and your source material
  • Editable before it is published
  • Publishing still gated to owners and administrators

What it does not do.

  • Google Business Profile is the only review source.

  • Otobiz cannot remove or edit a customer's review. Only your response is yours.

Common questions

Which review sources are supported?

Google Business Profile. Reviews are synced on a schedule and replies are published back to the same profile.

How current is the review list?

A background sync runs on a schedule, so new reviews appear without anyone refreshing a page or opening Google.

Who can reply?

Owners and administrators. Operators can read the reviews without being able to publish a public response.

Are replies drafted by AI?

You write the reply. A review is a public statement about your business, so it is not something the AI sends on its own.

Can I manage several locations?

Yes. Reviews are stored per location, so a business with more than one profile sees them separated.

Is a review reply recorded?

Yes. Publishing writes to the workspace audit record with the person who wrote it and when.

Can I be notified about a new review?

Notification categories control which events reach you in the app. The reviews tab is the reliable working queue.

Does replying affect my rating?

Ratings are Google's. Otobiz publishes your response, it does not change the score or the review text.

How fast should I reply to a review?

Sooner is better, because a reply is read by future customers. Keeping reviews in the working queue is what makes same-day replies realistic.

Can I see reviews next to that customer's messages?

Reviews arrive against the location, so they sit in their own tab. Matching a reviewer to a contact is a judgement someone makes.
