What the team gets

Delivery confirmed and adjusted

Left with the neighbour, recipient told

  1. Answer from the shipment, not a link

  2. Show where the driver actually is

  3. Offer the change they are about to ask for

Where a delivery costs twice.

Fix it before the second attempt.

Where is it becomes a phone call
The tracking page says out for delivery and nothing else, so the recipient calls, and someone has to read a screen to them.
The second attempt costs as much as the first
A failed delivery goes back to the depot and out again, with nobody having asked the recipient what went wrong.
Cash orders come back undelivered
Nobody confirmed the amount or that anyone would be home, so the driver carries it both ways.
  1. 01

A status that answers the actual question

The recipient asks where it is and the answer comes from the shipment, with the driver's position when it is out for delivery.

  2. 02

Failed deliveries fixed in the conversation

When a delivery cannot complete, the recipient picks a new slot, corrects the address, or names a neighbour, before the parcel is loaded again.

  3. 03

    Cash orders confirmed before dispatch

Every cash on delivery order is confirmed by the recipient, with the amount and the window, before it goes on a van.

Common questions

Can recipients track a parcel in the chat?

Yes. The status is read from the shipment and includes a live pin once it is out for delivery, so nobody has to open a tracking page.

Can a recipient change the delivery slot?

Yes, up until the parcel is loaded. They pick from the slots you actually have, and the route is updated rather than the parcel being attempted again blind.

Does this reduce failed deliveries?

It removes two common causes: nobody home because the window was never confirmed, and a wrong address nobody was asked to check. Both are handled before dispatch rather than after.

Can we confirm cash on delivery orders?

Yes. The recipient confirms the amount and the window before the order is loaded, and unconfirmed orders are held instead of sent.

Can drivers use it from the door?

The failure reason and any photo captured at the door go onto the shipment, and the recipient's message is built from them.
