Useful to know
How do I add a WhatsApp button to my website?
Enter your number, choose the label, position and color, then copy the code. Paste it where your site accepts custom HTML and publish.
Does the code load scripts or tracking?
No. It is a single link with inline styles and an inline WhatsApp icon. It loads no script, no external file and no tracking.
What happens when a visitor taps the button?
On a phone, WhatsApp opens a chat with your number and first message ready; on a computer, it offers WhatsApp Web or the app. The visitor still chooses whether to send.
Does a chat from the button count as marketing consent?
No. A customer starting a chat does not by itself give permission for later marketing messages.
