WhatsApp platform

WhatsApp coexistence

Coexistence is a Meta capability that lets one WhatsApp number run on the WhatsApp Business app and on the Business Platform at the same time, rather than migrating fully to the API.

Also calledcoexistence mode

It suits a business that wants software on top of its messaging while keeping the phone app for staff who prefer it. Messages sent from the app appear in the platform as well, so history stays in one place. Availability and behaviour are set by Meta, and it is not available to every account.
