Embedded Signup
Embedded Signup is Meta's in-product flow that lets a business connect its own WhatsApp Business Account and phone number to a software platform without leaving that platform.

The customer signs in to their own Meta account in a popup, selects or creates the business, and selects or verifies the number. The account and number stay in the customer's name throughout. It is how account ownership actually works, so it is worth asking whether a platform uses it.
