Cash on delivery is a payment method where the customer pays when the order arrives.

Also calledCOD

It raises conversion in markets where card payment adoption is low, and it raises returns because the customer has not committed anything at checkout. Confirming intent and address before dispatch, and offering an incentive to prepay, are the two standard responses. Both are conversations.
